DRYBROOK slipped to a disappointing defeat at North Bristol, after being forced to play the entire second-half with 14 men following the sending off of prop Tom Reed.

Reed was red carded following a bust-up with an opponent towards the end of the first period, when Drybrook were camped on the home line. They won a penalty, but the decision was subsequently reversed.

The home side gratefully cleared the danger to end the first- half action.

Drybrook reorganised at the break by sacrificing back-row Dean Large for prop Ian Pritchard.

Drybrook dominated the opening 20 minutes, but lacked penetration. A wealth of possession and field positions failed to produce a score.

After 25 minutes, Drybrook lost the services of winger Dave Hartwell with a pulled muscle. Leon Meek replaced him.

Drybrook gave away needless penalties as their frustration began to get the better of them.

Turning around 3-0 down, Pandora Beads Wholesale things got worse for the Foresters in the second-half.

The home side kicked a second penalty to extend their lead and, with 10 minutes to go, scored the game's only try by breaking through a missed tackle.

Drybrook did well to stay in contention, mainly through a good line-out platform, but the extra man made all the difference.

Mitch Bourne came on as a replacement to make his Drybrook first XV debut. In doing so, he became the fourth generation of his family to represent the club.
